You're in the Right Place
Every family arrives somewhere different. Some know exactly what they want. Others don't know where to start. Both are completely fine.
What matters is that the farewell feels right – for your loved one, and for everyone who's there to say goodbye.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every life deserves to be cherished, honoured and celebrated in the way your loved one would have wanted. Not a generic service with a name slotted in, but a farewell that genuinely reflects who they were.
Whether you're looking for a funeral, a celebration of life, or a scattering of ashes, there's no rush. Take all the time you need. I'm here to guide you gently through it, whenever you're ready.
What I Offer
A funeral or celebration of life led by me is written entirely around your loved one. Together, we'll create something that feels true to them and comforting for you.
Here's what's included:
-
A gentle first conversation
By phone, video call or in person, whatever feels easiest right now.
-
Time to talk
I'll come and sit with you and your family to hear the stories, the memories, the little details that made your loved one who they were.
-
A bespoke ceremony
Every word written for your loved one, drawing on your memories and the moments that mattered
-
Readings, music and rituals
Poetry, songs, film quotes, symbolic touches – whatever helps tell their story
-
A calm, warm delivery on the day
I'll hold the space so you can simply be present with your family
-
A keepsake copy
Digital copies of the full ceremony script to keep
There's no fixed formula. Some families want something quiet and reflective. Others want laughter, colour and a proper celebration. Most want a bit of both. It's entirely yours to shape.
How We Work Together
I've kept the process simple and unhurried, because this is not a time to feel rushed.
-
We remember together
When you're ready, I'll spend time with you and your family, listening to the stories and memories. This is often a surprisingly comforting part of the journey – a chance to share and reflect.
-
I write their story
Using everything you've shared, I'll craft a ceremony that honours your loved one authentically. I'll send it to you to read through, and we'll adjust anything until it feels exactly right.
-
I hold the space
On the day, I arrive early, connect with your funeral director and any other people involved, and deliver the ceremony with warmth and care –so you and your family can focus on saying goodbye.
Funerals and Celebrations of Life
-
Funerals
A dignified, personal service that gives your loved one the farewell they deserve. Whether at a crematorium, a place of worship, a natural burial ground or somewhere meaningful to your family, I'll create a ceremony that feels heartfelt and true.
-
Celebrations of Life
Sometimes a family wants to gather to celebrate a life fully lived, often separately from the funeral itself, or in place of a traditional service. These can be held anywhere – a garden, a favourite pub, a village hall, a woodland – and can be as reflective or as joyful as you wish.
Whichever feels right for your family, I'll be led entirely by you.
